Professor Dr. Tham Nimal-Raj is a distinguished leader, entrepreneur, and senior NHS General Practitioner based in the UK. With a wealth of experience in both the medical and business sectors, he brings visionary leadership and strategic direction to the Jaffna Rugby Club as its Founder and Director.

Driven by a passion for sports and community development, he founded the club to nurture local talent and promote excellence in the sport.
Beyond rugby, Professor Nimal-Raj is an influential figure in medical education, corporate healthcare, and strategic development. He is the Managing Director of Harley Street Medical Consultants and Lakeside Medical Diagnostic Services and serves as the Provost and Professor of Family Medicine and Anatomy at New Vision University, Tbilisi, Georgia.
